Alright, first, you need to enable Linux under "Developers," wait for that to finish installing, and once it's done, there will be a "Linux" folder under "My Files," extract the game into there, preferably into another folder called "games" or something similar for this guide. Next, open the terminal app, and if you put the game into a folder run "chmod 777 -R [foldername]", then, in order to start the game you need to go to the games folder using the cd command, for me the command would be "cd games/liarliar1.0-all", replace "games" with your folder's name. Once you're in this directory run "./liar\ liar.sh" and there you have it. please don't use the commas around the command in the command, they won't work if you do. I hope this helps!

1) first of all enable linux support in settings (settings > advanced > developer)
2) then when that is complete hit ctrl + alt + T to open a terminal and type sudo apt install python3 then press enter
3) download the game and extract it then go to the folder where the game is, if it's in your downloads folder you can access by: cd /home/chronos/user/Downloads/ then press enter
4) once you get to the game folder which if you went like how I told you would be /home/chronos/user/Downloads/liarliar1.0-all
python ./liar\ liar.py to play the game
so that's pretty much it hope this works if you're wondering how you can automate this so that you can for example just click an icon in the app launcher I dunno lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

this is so confusing im on my laptop (windows) and i tried opening the game and it says that liar liar.exe is missing and ive tried downloading this before and it said the same thing i dont know how to fix this.
this same thing happened to me but theres a way to fix it. go to "system preferences" (it looks like a gear or settings) and click "privacy & security" in the "general" tab. Open the game and the message you just had should appear. it will say "'(game in question)' was blocked from opening because its not from an identified developer" click "open anyway" it will ask you if you are sure you want to open it, click yes or open anyway (make sure its not cancel because I kept on doing that lol). Once that is done click your lock to make changes. Apple will ask you for your apple password as safety precautions. Once that is do you should be able to play.
I appreciate your help but sadly it didn't work. It's like it tries to open but then immediately closes, but thanks for your advice! I managed to do that with some other games and it worked so thank you.

Ok ok. It's super easy. right click on the funny lady with a dinosaur icon thingy after opening the folder and press "show package contents". click on contents then go to the folder called MacOS. there will be a black thingy with green letters that say "exec" click on that and the game should open.

have yet to play this game but i love how bright everything looks, its a nice contrast with the story about murder! the characters look cute and feel pretty real, i also like how happy and cheerful yukari is, even when shes gonna kill someone, the different options i like to, great job!
This game is so fun! I really love the characters and art style ^_^ The dialogues are very funny and I personally really like Tanaka TTwTT This is a gameplay my friends and I did of the game :D
